WINNER: The Light Inside, Festivals & Updates
Published on September 15, 2022 by Harry Knight

Dear Friends,

We wanted to share some good news and updates about The Light Inside.

We're happy to announce that we won 'Best Mental Health Short' at the Cotswold International Film Festival and have made the Official Selection for the Canberra International Mental Health Film Festival.

We'd love to celebrate this news with you by inviting you to share it with your friends and family. You can either forward this email or repost our tweet and Instagram post announcing the news.

On top of the festival news, we're also excited to welcome the New Zealand Society as a new partner. They've given us funding that will allow us to edit the 16 individual audio stories with some of the rich material that wasn't able to be used in the film. This will allow us to give each story the time it deserves and have a place on The Light Inside website. It will also act as a unique resource that anyone can access as a more in-depth look into specific types of mental-ill health into more specific types of mental-ill health. Working with our partners, we'll be able to share these stories along with the film to help reach vulnerable people who may not yet be connected with a service or some kind of support.

Warm regards,

Jesse & Harry

What fantastic news to wake up and read today. This is so so well deserved but perhaps best of all the publicity and audience it will create to spread the message.
