We are bookmarking donations to this project to fund a monthly, free community meal that will take place at Hyssop (293 Van Brunt St).

About
Red Hook Mutual Aid began as a behind-the-scenes endeavor, a phone line that served as a safety net when technology was a barrier to aid. As we began to decentralize through the buddy system and provide more in-person interactions, we built our volunteer corps and in the spirit of mutual aid, we sought to blur the lines between household and volunteer. We would like to continue this process by establishing a monthly event where we can all break bread together in person, building community through food. Donating to this project helps us fund the chefs and food that would make such a gathering possible.

You may request reimbursement for the Community Meals Project in the following categories:
*We will only approve submissions made by already/previously registered volunteers. Please complete this form to join our team.
Supplies:
groceries, food prep equipment, cleaning supplies, cutlery, etc.
