North West Food Rescue Hub Support

This project was borne out of North West Mutual Aid coalition's Chi Region Food System Omicron Impact Award for the purposes of:

Supporting the needs of this CFSC food rescue hub, including:
- Expanding CFSC's work out of the nw hub on the North West Side of Chicago.
- Installing walk-in refrigeration
- Food transportation supplies
- Rent, operations and maintenance expenses
- Food safety and transportation improvements (thermometers, thermal blankets, bags)
- Equipment to better organize, store and distribute rescued food (pallet jack, shelving, signage, rolling carts) 
- Building materials
- Contractors (electrician, carpenters, etc.)
