This is a question for the Kivy community, not the KivyMD.

and I think that one of the main benefits of Kivy and KivyMD is not having to use html , Flutter doesn't , JavaFX doesn't, the need for CSS itself is debatable, JavaFX has pseudo CSS, I'm happy to start exploring a sane and reasonable UI framework that looks good via  KivyMD but is highly customizable i.e. the low level manipulation of display via the canvas i.e. Kivy, never mind that we get to code in a reasonable and robust OO language with an enthusiastic community

no worries, to summarize:

I personally don't feel that there's a need to emulate html/css per se.
I also think that KivyMD provides a very nice look and feel already, quite excellent.
I also think that coding in Python is a far better experience than the coding I have had to do in JS.
Btw , I'm not a Pythonist (yet) , I still consider myself a Smalltalker .

Conclusion:
I am happy to be using KivyMD, pls continue the good work you all are doing. 

If I use this in our production apps (still experimenting) I will increase my contribution as well.
