This Christmas, treat your loved ones with the gift of a limited edition print made by Newcastle-based artist Ciara Lenihan, your contribution will go towards the continued running of our activities.
"This was made as a reaction to the ongoing food-poverty crisis. The image depicts my own experience with food poverty whilst sticking two fingers up to the old Irish proverb “Is maith an t-anlann an t-ocras”- hunger is the best sauce. People experiencing poverty deserve fresh fruit and vegetables. We deserve to be able to cook meals that don’t come in a tin or a jar. We deserve dignity and respect.” - Ciara Lenihan
£48 will pay for one week of Fareshare fees.
£70 will pay for one week of fresh fruit and veg wholesale for just over 50 households.
Initial run will be limited to 50.
There will be a second run if this sells out.
Minimum contribution is £10.
