This project was borne out of West Side Mutual Aid's Chi Region Food System Omicron Impact Award for the purposes of:
Supporting CFSC's efforts to maintain and continue our work out of the central hub in West Pilsen/Little Village in Chicago.
This includes:
- Rent
- Food safety and transportation improvements (thermometers, thermal blankets, bags)
- Equipment to better organize, store and distribute rescued food (pallet jack, shelving, signage, rolling carts)
