This project was borne out of Mayfair Mutual Aid's Chi Region Food System Omicron Impact Award for the purposes of:
- Short-term truck rentals and gas
- Long-term truck lease and gas
- Vehicle rentals and gas to increase coverage in under resourced areas
Wishlist includes several refrigerated trucks or vans that can be shared across the Chicago and south and west Cook County to maximize food rescue, redistribution and any other food sovereignty activations.
